	August Meeting
		The PCDC's August meeting will be Saturday the 15th from 9:30am-11:30am at the Peace and Justice Center 170 Park St. Bangor. Please join us to welcome Sen. Libby Mitchell, President of the Maine State Senate and talk about TABOR II and other issues effecting our state with our Guest Speaker. We'll also hold a quick election for the State Convention's Permanent Organizing Committee and talk about the American Folk Festival Brunch on the 29th. And don't forget to join us after the meeting at Paddy Murphy's for lunch!!!


	First Annual American Folk Festival Brunch
		The Penobscot County Democratic Committee in partnership with the Maine Democratic Party Invite you and your family to our American Folk Festival Brunch on Saturday, Aug. 29th from 10am-noon. Join Secretary of State Matthew Dunlap and our Host Committee as we welcome Gubernatorial Candidates, Maine's Democratic Legislators and Democrats from around the state to Bangor for the American Folk Festival. We'll have a great Brunch Buffet prepared by Ann Marie's Kitchen, a cash bar for Mimosas and Bloody Mary's and live music.
